City of Amsterdam

Amsterdam; the representative of the liberal Dutch culture, from soft drugs coffee shops, to same sex marriages, a parliament party for animal rights, and legalization of euthanasia and prostitution, yet the political paedophilia party was ‘one bridge too far’.

 

Even though the Netherlands is internationally oriented, thinks big, and its national capital Amsterdam houses worlds most multi-ethnic population, Amsterdam, with the countless bicycles, down to earth mentality and only 800.000 inhabitants feels like a small village.

 

But once again, with the antidote of a metroplis, the Netherlands manages to be different, perhaps leading again...
