Rancho Santa Fe
Encinitas and Leucadia are by far the most casual and laid back of North County’s seaside communities, but don’t let that fool you these towns also offer fine dining and entertainment for those that choose.
Encinitas is a surfer’s dream From Swami’s, named so for the Self Realization Fellowship’s location just above the surf beach’s bluffs, to Moonlight State Beach to the north.
Encinitas and Leucadia have a wide range of restaurants, from Italian, to coastal Californian, some great bars filled with cool, friendly locals, all definitely very chill and free of the downtown and La Jolla vibes. Encinitas is a gourmand’s dream as well from chocolatiers, to bakers, seafood markets, and cheese shops.
Obviously, these two coastal towns are full of contrasts, they’re yours to surf, sample and savor.
