City Centre

The City Centre of Utrecht is very beautiful place with its canals, narrow streets, big squares and the Dom Tower. Utrecht is the only city in the Netherlands that has canals with canal wharfs. In these canal wharfs you can find lots of restaurants, bars and clubs and in the summertime you can enjoy a drink or a meal outside on the terraces on the wharfs right next to the water.

 

The City Centre of Utrecht is not very big so you can see a lot in one day. Climb the Dom Tower to get a fantastic view of the city, have a drink in one of the student cafés on Neude Square, make a boat trip on the canals, go to one of the beautiful museums and go shopping on the Oudegracht.
