Università Cattolica/ Corso Magenta
Well, we have to talk about this district pretty well.
It’s definitely “The city centre” for Milan’s citizens. It’s our “Chelsea” for London or “Tribeca” for NYC.History and many astonishing buildings and several villas are all over this area.
Sant’ambrogio’s church (where Milan’s Patron comes from), Santa Maria Delle Grazie with its “Ultima Cena” by Da Vinci, Corso Magenta with its fancy shops, Università Cattolica with its history and its fascinating student (I come from thereJ), Bar Magenta, the oldest bar in town, and obviously the real fact that you are just 10 minutes far away from every area of the city.
I love it!
Culture ++++ (Basilica Di Sant’Ambrogio, Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore, Palazzo Delle Stelline, Museo Della Scienza e della Tecnica, Santa Maria delle Grazie and several roman ruins almost everywhere)
Shopping +++++ (Corso Magenta, Corso Vercelli)
Eating +++++ (Thousand of bars becasue of the University like Mama Cafè (Great), and nice restaurant like Boccondivino in Via Carducci and others in Via Vincenzo Monti, Via Lanzone and Via Terraggio)
Nightlife ++ (Bar Magenta, 3 Morsi café)
Nature + (pretty close to Parco Sempione!)
