It is so exciting to see the progress of green technology as it forges forward through the thick haze of stunned gas consumers. The price hikes have been the catalyst and motivation for evolution of creative engineering.
Enertia is a company out of Oregon seeking to aid in the push forward to bring a solution to the daily commuter. They have created an electric motorcycle that has an average cost of .01 cents per mile. With a 3 hour charge time to energize the Enertia bike 45 miles at a top speed of over 50 miles per hour, this new motorcycle will be pleasing to cash strapped and/or eco-conscious.
Onward with the baby steps to sustainability without oil. Can't wait until the Enertia has a bit more mileage per charge though. We are almost there!
