Mini laptops are hip.. are they?

The smaller the better. Small laptops are hot! More and more computer companies are developing smaller (9-inch) notebooks. These mini laptops are popular amoung students. The mini's are cool looking, cheap (yes they are!) and easy to carry (in your backpack), but are they also user-friendly?
Small also means less space and worse specs and unfortunate that is the case with these mini laptops. Most mini laptops had to shorten in memory and harddrive space, while also not all of the recent software does work on these gadgets. Still some thresholds to conquer I guess.
There is however one exception, the iPhone 3G!

yeah the smaller the better i agree with that
in my case, usage of Laptop is portablily(easy to bring anywhere) and accessibility to internet(wi-Fi)
i already have some plan to change my laptop into smaller one
but big problem is money(the smaller the more expensive) and time length of using .
if someone solve these problems, he will be richest : )
