The inspiration for this dress came from the Empire Period, the beginning of the 19th century, Napoleonic Era. I really liked the military jackets with gold embroidery details, which i decided to put into a dress..
Fabric: Silk Duppioni, cotton lining
Embroidery: Goldwork embroidery with beads and sequins all done by hand!
