which brand is most famous as mp3 player manufacturer? of course Apple iPod!!

so which company invented mp3 player first?
Apple?! I hope not.

Saehan Inc. invented mp3 player first all over ther world and published at the 1998 cebit. at that time almost people have no idea about mp3. and also they had mp3 patent.
storage amont is just 16mb. actually i bought this one at the price of $ 400.(i think i was totally crazy : ) ) anyway, in spite of first inventor, they failed to open market and get big market share ( they just focused on R&D not design n UI ).

timing, potential of market, level of acknowlege, needs, etc...

those are issues!
