The icebar in Amsterdam, the Xtracold Icecafe, is something you should have experienced once. When entering the bar, you first pass from the lounge café, created by Dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie. After dressing up with warm wintercoats, gloves and hats, you enter the minus 8 Celsius degree Xtracold Icebar. Just as the other worldwide icebars the whole bar is made of ice. Pretty cool are the frozen fireplace, frozen chairs and frozen glasses.

The Xtracold Icecafe is fun to have been to once, but it is not a place where I will regularly go to: you need to pay an entrance fee of 15 Euros including a drink, there is hardly anyone inside, and last of all, it is freezing cold!
