Just a few steps behind the famous Leidseplein, along a quite beautiful street overlooking the Amsterdam canals, there smiles a warm and little escape called Café George. Its location may be nondescript and shy, its attitude and interior nonchalant, and its fashionable crowd down to earth, yet this new up and coming bar screams style!
Café George is inspired by French bistros and as such its restaurant menu offers a variety of French oriented cuisine, as well as Fish and Chips and Eggs Benedict. To top it off and tease the palette, champagne is served with everything!
Be yourself in this stylish setting with small simple wooden tables and a few bartender stools. Eat what you want and drink what you desire. You cannot make a table reservation, don’t plan, instead trust your guts and walk in. Only Reply, Blue Blood and Models at Work can make reservations since they have bought a table to ensure this will be their local spot. Meet hip & happening Amsterdam from a friendly humble side.
