Have you ever heard of “simit”? Being an indispensable taste for Turkish people, simit is a kind of circular bread which is covered with sesame seeds all around. It is very common in Turkey, as well as in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, other parts of the Balkans, and Middle East.
Mostly eaten at breakfast, it is usually served with cheese and tea, in Turkey. Although it is often sold by street vendors on trolleys and at patisseries, it is possible to see some places called “simit house” since a few years. Lastly, different kinds of simit has also been created such as wholewheat.
Try this wonderful taste; you’re going to love it!
