The Best Fish Tacos in the World! (The Brigantine)
When visiting San Diego you will see the popularity of one of our home dishes, fish tacos, yes that is correct, fish in a taco. This Mexican transplant to Southern California has been made famous by such eateries as Rubio’s and Baja Fresh.
While I am not a big Mexican food fan, I can’t get enough of the Brig’s fish tacos, they are crispy shelled, the fish is soft and moist cod, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Top this flavor sensation with tasty cream and chili sauces and a squeeze of lime and you have a winner. But least I forget, the margaritas, other seafood selections including crab, shrimp and calamari, and oh boy look out.
I love hanging at the Brig after a day at work, or a Sunday afternoon. When visiting San Diego, make sure you take some time to chill and dine at the Brigantine, or Brig as we call it locally.
