One thing i noticed immediately upon arrival and throughout my visit in Los Angeles is that no one looks up!

Ok, so they do once in a while tip their heads, but for the most part Los Angelinos spend the majority of their time walking (they do this rarely), at cafe's, in restaurants, with friends, at the movies!, and in the car (this is now legal but no one seems to know) while looking down at their mobile phones!

I swear that I think there are subliminal messages being sent by someone or something and these poor souls are captured and entranced by their mobile phones.

It is simply bizarre to me that people are so addicted to these things that they have lost touch with even their friends sitting across the same table! It is like the old movie the Stepford Wives, what I wonder is, when do they take their pills?
