I first saw this movie last year and it was amazing. Despite that is so sad to see all true violence that happen in the middle of this beautiful city in the big screen. I was so shocked because I studied in the University that was held big part of the movie.

You cannot miss this movie that will be in all cinemas or DVD in Europe and US in a near future.

The 58th Berlin International Film Festival concluded here with Brazil's "Tropa de Elite" (The Elite Squad), a blood-soaked movie about police brutality in Rio de Janerio, winning the prestigious Golden Bear award for the best film.

The debut feature film by Jose Padilha, which broke all Brazilian box-office records last year, explores the influence of the drug mafia on the poorest inhabitants of the South American nation and reveals the daily routines of a brutal and corrupt special unit of the Brazilian military police.
