The standard of the world, the classic Cadillac (Cadillac)

There was once a time, long ago, a time long before Mercedes, before BMW and Lexus when there was only one Standard for luxury cars, that standard was the Cadillac. 

 From the 1930's to the 1970's, the greatest luxury automobiles ever produced were made, these cars were designed with a kind of artistic flair and attention to detail, that has never been matched since.  Now the company Cadillac is a shadow of its former self, peddling plastic trucks and cars that resemble nothing of the glory that was Cadillac. I personally have owned two of these great cars myself and I can tell you, they never fail to turn heads.

Cadillac was the first car to have many things such as the electric starter and power windows.  I used to get looks of amazement when I told people my 1965 Cadillac had cruise control.
