Differentiation of automotive industry
If someone sees the differences of the above example cars he would understand that for the same idea, same consumer good,at the end identical group of consumers each civilization-culture perceives the needs and priorities of this group differenty.A typical example is these cars where you can find easily main different approaches about what a coupe car for example should be,what are the characteristics that would consumers find attractive.
Find an example of three cars-almost same price group for the same people offered in some countries but are from different worlds totally.
What can be said about the style? The japanese car almost has no style,it has circles, squares etc and the total outcome is vague. The German one seems very refined and trendy, like a drop of water however you do not say wowww! The american one for sure draws your eyes because it is huge, ugly but seems powerfull and extreme-i think it likes to be like that.
Differences also are huge as far as it concerns the inner world of these cars. The japan car is a gadget-technologic miracle for the playstation generation. The german one is like a jewerly, trendy, made to be considered an accesory for you-wants to take you to your destination comfortable and safe. The american one is a way of being expressed as a rogue agent,an anarchist in a way going sideways all the time.
But which of the three is better? Can you answer this question?Of course not , because even for the same market they are tottaly different as mentioned above.
If you go only on perfomance measurment again it is a bit relative. The japanese car is not the fastest but it is the mort cart oriented for driver pleasure, the german one is the most safe and comfortable to drive fast like driving on its own, while the american one needs a lot of hands to drive correctly, has immense power but also it is dangerous if you are not 100% hands on the car.
Which one would you buy?I cannot advise you and that is the main strategy of automotive industries.Take the one your heart beats faster and suits you more. The thing is that not easily a European guy would buy the american even if it was imported or a japanese the american. And this is why the culture of every country is behind these four wheels. At the end our way of upbringing and environment defines our needs and choices
I think as a Greek with no cars producing our culture advises as to take the donkey!!!-gaidaros power

Woo there beauty is also a psychologically, behaviorally, culturally, and socially influenced perception. For instance I am an American, a New Yorker, I find that the Mazda has high style, the Dodge is gorgeous and I am left cold by the Audi.
