The High Dive bar is one of my favorite places to head after a stressful day or week. It is as casual and laid back as you can get East of the I-5, of course it is just east of 5 so near enough to the beach and bay that it is still definitely a beachy crowd.

The food is great, if not healthy, and the beer selection is awesome, it is more than a dive and more than a sports barm, it has a neighborhood appeal and yet welcomes all visitors. If you are looking for a place to belong and feel at home, look no further.
