“Not Another Social Network...” They're popping up around everything. You have to have so many different identities, you can easily forget which password belongs where. When it comes down to it, we just want to belong somewhere. At the same time, Microsoft's bid for Yahoo is going to turn social networking into the new Pepsi/Coke rivalry, as other companies are absorbed and start taking sides. A big prize will go to the next social network that can sign you up for a new site, just by inputting your MySpace handle. One gateway, one identity that can be used for any site asking for personal information.
