A combination of talent, elegance and modesty! (Candan Ercetin)
Turkey got to know her with her red hair and incredible voice. As the color of her hair, her modesty and elegance had never changed over the years. I can clearly say that Candan Ercetin is one of the best examples of talented, elegant and modest musicians taking place in Turkish music industry.
Still continues to her teaching job at Galatasaray High School, Candan Ercetin is a real music lover! Born in 1963, she was graduated from Istanbul Municipal Music School Department of Singing in 1991. Studied classical opera, she represented Turkey in 1986 at Eurovision Song Contest with her group Klips ve Onlar.
Candan Ercetin hosted some tv programs and acted in several movies/tv series through her career. In 1995, she completed her first solo album called Hazirim and became very successful. She has more than 10 albums including the remix ones. Besides her Turkish albums, in 2003, she released an album named Candan Chante Hier Pour Aujourd'hui in which she sang French chansons such as Ne Me Quitte Pas, Le Meteque, Parole , and La Vie En Rose.
I strongly recommend you to listen to her. I’m sure you’re going to appreciate her talent…
