When you think of Point Loma, you think laid back, casual, nautical, and retro San Diego, but very few would think of this neighborhood as a culinary destination. Aside from family favorites including Old Venice and Point Loma Seafoods, there are newly arrived stars such as The Pearl and Roseville.
My visit to Roseville followed numerous recommendations from friends and fellow StyleXplorers, I was not disappointed! You enter this unassuming restaurant from a rear parking area, the frontage along Rosecrans is limited to outdoor seating. I felt as if I had stepped back in time, in a way to a luxurious yet casual bistro circa 1978. One would be in style arriving in a 1978 Cadillac Seville or a Magnum PI style Ferrari 328.
