The High Noon Resort in Lauderdale by the Sea offers ocean front beach and heated pool. It's about thirty barefoot steps from your room to the beach and you can walk the surf edge every morning at first light and in the full moon light. Two beach cleaning tractors are running back and forth every morning. The nearby fishing pier is an attraction 24/7 if only to feel the ocean breeze and almost touch an occasional Pelican resting on the railing.

The convenience of restaurants where different live bands perform in the street every Friday and Saturday night until 10 PM, and shops, especially the Kilwin's confectionary and ice cream shop around the corner, are added attractions. A visit to the nearby Publix provides the fixings for meals in your room when eating out becomes too much of a threat to your waistline.
