Join the Iranian Revolution (Twitter)
As I write this report, I am joining countless other people around the globe on Twitter, many of whom, as I have spent the day and evening in discussing, sharing information and now supporting however we can as conduits for information where information has been either lacking including medias that include CNN, MSNBC and Fox, and media websites globally... in the wake of what may be a stolen election in Iran on June 13.
I have to say I am transfixed as I tweet, retweet, and join in this social media wave that is far more up to date, and provides far more in-depth analysis than any traditional media currently do or can.
On the trending topics list, #IranElection is number 2 just ahead of now #CNNFail which is in essence where we find ourselves, the people want answers, information and an outlet to act and make a difference, the traditional news used to be an outlet for this, in the wake of the Iranian election they have failed, perhaps because they don't consider Iran to be important? Perhaps because they consider it more of the same from Iran? Whatever, Twitter and its Tweets have taken on an incredible new voice and meaning today!
Just some examples of Tweets include:
RT Tonight we are all Iranians! Please RT #IranElection #CNNFail
#cnnfail #iranelection www.Twitterfall.com is a good site it may not be blocked
People are protesting media's lack of coverage:
#iranelection what we learn from this is that BBC is a real news agency; MSNBC CNN and FOX are not. #CNNfail
People are petitioning:
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/2/where-is-my-vote
From Iranians on the ground:
"I'm dizzy but ok. some people are getting shelter in the nearby unfinished bank building. police arresting a middle aged man" as the second day of popular protest and attacks by police reach universities.
And the erstwhile candidate Mousavi: You can follow his followers coverage while he is in house arrest.

Those of us on Twitter have shared and been privy to information, data, commentary and direct reporting as not seen on traditional medias: http://www.juancole.com/
Tweets even include links on how to circumvent government filters of sites like YouTube and Twitter: https://torproj.xpdm.us/
As I sign out this report I see one from a new friend and fellow human seeking a free lifestyle Farhad, it's 9:54 AM -Amirabad street near Pasargad bank and to be honest I don't have the courage to leave the roof right now #iranelection
Two more links that you should add...
