Large as Life Russian Ad Campaign (BMW Russia Campaign)

BMW's M division have taken a bigger is better approach to their outdoor advertising in Russia.  While the Moscow River frontage of the Hotel Russia is under construction, BMW took the opportunity to create an unprecedented outdoor ad featuring no less than 4 full size BMW models sprinting across the canvas including an M3 coupe, M5, M6 and Z4 M Coupe. Original parts, including the body, wheels and headlights were used for the models mounted on the billboard.

So just exactly how big is it? The surface area measures a colossal 1.5 acres, or roughly 6,500 m2 (65,000 square feet). At that size this may very well be the largest outdoor ad in the world.  And the excitement doesn't end at dusk, because the four BMWs on the display have functioning headlights that light up at night.
