Future's store (Benetton)

Benetton opened its Suadiye store in Istanbul, which is the first in its “futuristic stores” series all around the world. The new store, whose interior and exterior design have been created by world-famous architect Piero Lissoni was built in 2009 with approx. $30 million investment. Being the most extensive international project of Benetton Group in 2009, the store serves as an example for the upcoming Benetton stores.

 

store having 2,000-sqm area attracts attention with its design, which consists of 6 cube floors. The Suadiye Benetton store consists of 6 cube floors, and the siding of the building is coated with corten, a material that sculptors use generally. The final color of the siding appears in 6 months time in its natural environment.

 

 

The products designed by Fabrica, Benetton’s Communication and Research Center, as well as Benetton and 012 products will be available in the new store.
