While shopping with a self-professed “fashionista” friend of mine one recent weekend, she took me to a quite hidden boutique on La Jolla’s tawny and tasteful Prospect Avenue. Lissilaa, as it is called, carries the name of the boutiques stunning owner a former model for such brands as Bulgari.
Lissila has offerings for both men and women, I left with a pair of Yohji Yamamoto Y-3 Adidas Sneakers and Dsquared2 Denims.
If you are looking for premium brands at premium prices you have a few choices in San Diego, but if you are looking for the absolutely unique selected from the streets of Paris, Tokyo, or Rome then head no further than downtown La Jolla.
