Words too are vibrant! (Everywhere)
Everywhere (google maps)
A lot has been talked of about the visual arts on this site and around the world. There is but one issue I have with this. What about words? Whether it is in Chinese,(a written art in itself) Italian, French, etc. The use of words has be minimized and thus ignored. What happened to the days of yore? When in itself a word was pure art? We are now inundated by grating and unpoetic abbreviations. How can semantics be enjoyed if one does not know what it means? We have rap and that sort. The sort of thing that is consumed en masse by the masses. Where I wonder are all the people that truly have something meaningful to say? Much passes as art by those that you would think the most selective. Truly I would think in Literature and all other types of written media it comes down to the individual. Tell me what me what the word is today.
