Alfa Romeo in Shopping Cart (Alfa Romeo MiTo)
After attending Brian's class, I inherit contagiously spreading interest in Alfa Romeo production. The latest car promotion is an installation of a full-size car perched atop a shopping cart, placed in busiest malls. The campaign aims to attract the attention of local shoppers "with creativity and intelligence". And, of course, just a bit of whimsy. No price tags involved though, just a headline "Your chance to own an Alfa Romeo", which invites people to discover all the reduced prices at company's web site.
Let's step aside from an innovative installation, and take at the target audience: the older gentleman standing directly under the precariously perched MiTo--not to inspect the car, but to investigate the shopping cart's contents. And that's unexpected.
