The Hotel de l' Abbaye Saint-Germain is a garden paradise in the center of Paris. This one time convent is today a rare and peaceful escape for those seeking romance and relaxation in the citry of lights.

The petit rooms are cozy, display impeccably designed decor and the most modern acoutrements, the bathrooms are luxurious and the hotel's gardens and terraces are a rarity in Paris. Add to this the hotel's proximity to one of my favorite Parisian sites the Jardin du Luxembourg, and pastimes ... shopping.

As old as things seem in Paris, they are usually older than that. Everything in Paris has had many lives. The vestiges of the Hotel de l'Abbaye's past are evident today in the stone arches spanning the reception desk and the tranquility in the hotel’s garden.

Sitting in the hotel’s garden café you can capture serene moments that are a welcome retreat for the romantic or couple in love.
