When in Paris I must recommend a truly enjoyable gastronomique pleasure, the culinary creation of Jean-Francois Piège, former chef of the restaurant Les Ambassadeurs at Hotel Crillon, and Thierry Costes
Thoumieux has been in the same family for four generations, and has recently become a favorite of Paris' fab set. Look beyind that though, this brasserie offers a rare combination of great ambience, creative and delicious food and impeccable service, rare in any city, but in Paris, a true treasure to be experienced. This art deco brasserie features and interior that impresses with it's polished wood, shint brass and glistening crystal.
The cuisiine that Parisians and visitors alike are raving about includes the soufflé pizza, calamari carbonara and a personal favorite the salad frisee with poached egg and smoked lardons (a thick and savory type of bacon).
