Valentines Day would not be the same without the sweet sensation of Chocolate. In New York, one of my favorite sweet escapes and gifts for that someone special is Jacques Torres' Chocolate Haven.

Torres is one of the world's premier chocolatiers, making his chocolate from cacao beans right before your eyes in a couple of city locations. The shop is even takes on the oval shape of a cacao pod. a glass wall permits sweet tooths with views of the staff working away as if in Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory, but here you need no gold bar for entry just come in!

After seeing the beans turn to chocolate, let the champagne truffles and creamy caramel chocolates melt in your mouth. To make this sweetness even sweeter, Jacques Torres has now ventured into Ice Cream!
