I have great news for university students. Would you like to get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a 3-month, international internship? I can hear you saying “yeessss”!
EF Education First, the world leader in international education, launches a contest called "Global Intern 2010". If you enjoy traveling & experiencing new cultures and foresee a future with your feet planted firmly on more than one country at a time, then this contest is exactly for you!
Global Intern 2010 is a contest that is open to all university students from any nationality aged 18 or older. The winner of the contest will receive a 3-month internship with EF on 3 continents of his or her choosing; with all travel, accommodations, and meals provided by EF. An international panel of EF judges will select the winner based on the contestant's resume and personal video.
How does the system work? First of all, the students must register their resume on EF’s website and submit a video of no more than 3 minutes describing how the internship will impact their future. EF expects 51 countries to participate in the contest, each of which will announce an individual country winner on April 23, 2010. Those finalists will compete for the internship, with the grand prize winner to be announced on April 30, 2010.
The deadline for applications is April 20, 2010. You can find further information at http://www.ef.com/globalintern
This seems a great opportunity for university students who want to shape their careers in advance. So what are you waiting for? Go for it J
