I am enjoying memories from my recent trip to India and will begin with one of my definite highlights and memory of a lifetime.

The Palace on Wheels is a super luxury train that has given a new meaning to a train journey. This super luxury train is a joint venture of Indian Railways and Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation that has set up new standards of luxury and comfort in the hospitality industry of India.

The royal Palace on Wheels has been the envy of many since its launch in 1982. This Indian luxury train has proven a great benefit to the Travel and Tourism Industry of India.The Palace on Wheels provides an enthralling experience on board and a royal journey through the palaces and forts of the great Maharajas of Rajasthan.

The artistically designed coaches of this royal train create an ambience of the princely states of Rajasthan, the luxurious train is a sort of Rajasthan on Wheels. The luxurious journey of this unique Palace-on-Wheels comprises of a tour to the Taj Mahal as well before it reaches back to Delhi, from where it starts the 8 day luxury train tour journey.
