This spider is a studio Pininfarina celebration of its 80th anniversary as well as being a tribute to Alfa Romeo, which this year turns 100. The collaboration between Pininfarina and Alfa Romeo is one of the longest and most storied in the automotive world.

Despite it's very groundbreaking design, this is a spider that is an Alfa through and through: Simple, clear and with sophisticated design: from the decorative signature Alfa Romeo chevron grille that looks as if floating in the middle of the radiator to the horizontal LED lights and a strip of carbon air splitters at the base of the bumper.

Note the obvious influence of biodesign - a tribute to the philosophy of Pininfarina, traditionally committed to the concepts of ecology and harmony with nature. 2ettottanta - an arrow, flying in the wind and almost unopposed! Let's pray this arrow is in cupid's quiver, I am already in love...
