“BeyoÄŸlu müzikle baÅŸkadır” project, which means “Beyoglu is different with music”, has finally started. Being one of the signs of Istanbul, the nostalgic tramway of Beyoglu is the newest concert place nowadays and driving out with music...
Being realised within the sponsorship of 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency, the project is owned by BeyoÄŸlu GüzelleÅŸtirme ve Koruma DerneÄŸi, an organization about saving and embellishing Beyoglu. The tramway is going all along Istiklal Street and getting everyone’s attention, especially the tourists.
Every evening between 19.30-21.30, the wagon is full of musicians making live performance. I think this is a first all over the globe and believe me, it’s worth listening J
