After practically drooling all over myself while catching a glimpse of the 918 Spyder in a magazine, I felt that this was something that I had to share with the StyleXplorer community.

This elegant, yet mean looking Porsche has made waves in the automotive industry after being presented in the Geneva Motor Show. This 500 horsepower V8 engine can reach top speeds of 198 m.p.h. while going 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. That is extremely impressive considering that it is also an electric plug-in hybrid.

In it's economy mode, the 918 Spyder expends ONLY 113 miles to the gallon. How would you like to have that luxury?

While this is a sports car that is desired by many, it falls just out of reach with it's steep price of half a million euros. Not only is the expense worrisome, but also the limited amount of automobiles being produced by Porsche. I guess I will have to admire this work of art on a screen in the comfort of my own home.
