Miami based Ecoist (love the name!) is the manufacturer of eco friendly bags and household equipment.

Each of the bags is made of recycled material that varies from candy wrappers, food packaging, soda labels, newspapers, magazines and so on.

Ecoist has partnered also with Mars, Coca Cola and Frito Lay to repurpose their misprinted wrappers and bottle labels. In this way the company has made an impact on the environment, preventing more than 15 million candy wrappers and other waste bound materials from ending up in landfills.

In addition Ecoist has planted more than 100,000 trees (with Trees for the Future) as part of its commitment to plant a tree for every product sold, countries include India, Uganda, Haiti, Mexico, and the United States

I really like the bags and would love to make my green fashion statement!
