I lived in Paris while in school, during oone of my family's visits and stay at the adjacent Intercontinental Hotel, we happened upon a Salon de The (Tea Room) called Angelina. My love and near lust for true hot chocolate and a desert named Mont Blanc began there.
It turns out that the first hot chocolate was served here in 1903! Since then, royalty, dignitaries, world leaders, a dictator or two (Hitler loved this place, but we'll forget about that), and even the proletariate and petit bourgeois like us travel great distances for the sweet combination of hot chocolate and this amazing pastry, Mont Blanc, it may be classic and a bit stuffy, but this place is as Paris as you can get on about 20 euros!
