If you're destination is Palm Springs, whether you book to stay or stay for a look you must visit the Viceroy. This Kor Hotel Group property has quite a history in Palm Springs going back to it's Hollywood roots as a favorite escape for actors including; Clark Gable, Joan Crawford, and Bing Crosby.
The hotel is really divided among three zones, my favorites being the original and totally relaxing Spanish bungalows from the 1920's and 30's, the second the trendy, cool and chic late 1960's and 70's scene. Both combine sophisticated style (blending black, white and punches of yellow) of a neo-classical nature.
The pool scene, food and drinks are extraordinary to epic proportions, bask on day beds under olive trees as you cruise the sexy clientele. Your only distractions may the bold bevvies including the amazing Popsicle Tini (from sister Tides Hotel in Miami) a blend of watermelon, grapefruit, orange and Mint Popsicle. Treat yourself like a star ... the Viceroy awaits you in Style!
