Wait a sec. Something has changed in Paris’ summers. Where are all the angry, frustrated people, who wish they could escape in holidays but are stuck in the hot, muggy subway instead? Well, there still there. Just a little happier. The reason is named “Paris Plage”. Since 2002, sand and palm trees come to Paris between mid July and mid August. It’s not Copa Capana, but almost. The air is lighter, people more laid back. Every night you can go see free outdoor concerts or old movies. Just bring your picnic (and wine bottle of course, French style)!
