When visiting San Diego, check in with streamlined style at The Keating, Pininfarina’s first hotel creation. The Keating is a boutique hotel with European sex appeal and SOHO style located in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Distict. A contemporary interpretation and testament to the style and design that is visually striking, yet inviting and warm, and is always reminiscent of Pininfarina’s signature style. The Keating sets a new standard for urban lifestyle boutique hotels worldwide, attractive to both visitors and residents alike.
I was recently guided on a tour of a selection of the 35 luxurious guestrooms, each offering a blend of Pininfarina custom designed furnishings with vaulted ceilings, state-of-the-art amenities like Bang & Olufsen’s Beo Vision electronics and Dornbracht bathroom fixtures. The rooms are laid out without interior walls providing incredible open spaces and great site lines for enjoying interior design and views.
