"Frentista" What's this?

This report is about a Job that exists in Brazil that does not here in the US. Frentista is the person works for a gas station and he/she is responsible for filling your car with gas. Wowww, why Brazil has it?? I don't know either. But if you calculate how many "frentistas"we have in Brazil (5,10 per gas station) that goes to thousands of people and jobs. It is known that anyone can fill his/her own car with gas. But in Brazil the "frentista"will do it for you. No tips required.
The question is.. if you take "frentista" away from brazilian job market, what will you do with those thousands of unemployed people?? Create a new market, new function..?? I dont know.. Be creative!!!
