"Brands' Ballroom".. "Manolo to Mercedes"

"Sex and the City".... I will say "Brands'Ballroom"
Yesterday evening was like a Girls' Party (leaving aside some 20-30% of male audience) @ Movie Theater. Not because theater did something special but the movie "Sex & the City"....
There were NOT just 20 somethings but... 30 ... 40 ... even 50 somethings gals and ladies all pepped and dolled up just to relate & associate with the high fashion and the brands portrayed in the movie (ok i will mention "friendship" also , if you will.. )
With the diminishing of TV ad-age, more and more brands are turning up in hollywood flicks and serials. This movie was the " Epitome" of PRODUCT PLACEMENT. Starting from Coke to Skyy Vodka to Mercedes and whatnot....
I dont remember all the brands but few which i can recall are mentioned below:
- 4 girls' 5th girl friend "Manolo Blahnik" holds a very special space in the movie.
- A cute segment dedicated to Apple iPhone..
- Chanel and Louis Vuitton....
- A "Vogue" style and sophistication throughout.
- And for those 30% of males : Mercedes-Benz GLK.
- Catch a glimpse of best designers' couture like Vera Wang... Oscar de la renta... C Dior ...etc..
And the list goes on................
I am wondering: "How to get an invitation to next Brands' Ballroom?".... Any ideas "STYLEXPLORERS" ??? :) :) :) :)
PS: Marketers watch the movie not for its girly essence but for "product placement in high style and fashion...."
